The Basin Football Club - Auskick

Just a reminder that there is no Auskick tomorrow due to the public holiday on Monday. We hope you all enjoy your long week end, and we will see you back on the ground on the 13th of June.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents who have contributed to the season's success, including those who participated in the Bunnings BBQ and those who provide ongoing weekly support. The season has been highly enjoyable, and we are thrilled to have raised over $1400 for the program at the BBQ. We are excited to organize a memorable celebration for the families at the end-of-season presentation. More details about this day will be posted closer to the date!

Just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of the superstars who came down to help at the Bunnings sausage sizzle today! You were all phenomenal and some of you even came back to do a second shift or stayed there entire day!
Also thank you to those who could make it down in the rain to support us by purchasing a snag or a drink!

You have all made a huge difference to the basin Auskick community today, regardless of how much money was raised!

We’re on the bottom oval for tomorrow’s Auskick session - 9:30am start and all off the oval by 10:20am.

The program is below.

A roster to sign up for the major Auskick fundraiser for the Basin, being the Bunnings bbq, will be at the sign in desk. Don’t be shy!

All:
- Welcome and Warm up: 5 mins
- Lane Skills: 10 mins

Level 1 and Level 2
- Hit the stick and Super boot: 10 mins
- Around the world: 10 mins
- Game: 15-20 mins

Level 3
- Game - no running with ball: 10 mins
- Round the bend: 5 mins
- Hit the stick and Super boot: 10 mins
- Game - running: 15 mins

Good morning everyone! Just a reminder that we are counting down now with only just over a week to go until our Bunnings bbq on the 17th of May! We are putting together the parent helper roster today and will be posting it up shortly with allocated times for parents. We have lots of spots left to fill from 9am-4pm.

Please comment below or message us to let us know your preferred times to help on the day to help us with our allocations.

Hi everyone,

As most of you know Auskick doesn’t happen without the support of volunteers who are a part of the Auskick community. So we are calling out for assistance from our parents/carers to help with running the weekly sessions, manning the registration table and general participation with your kids for each session through the season.

Please note you do not need any football experience to coach or participate as the afl provides instructions each week for all activities, including helpful videos we will provide to all parents to watch before each session.

The current jobs that we need filled include:

- Level 1 coach
- Level 2 coach
- Level 3 coach
- Volunteers for the registration table each week

We will also be running a BBQ at Bunnings on the 17th of May from 9am - 4pm and will need to fill the roster with volunteers for each two hour slot.
