Congrats to Mitch Podhajski who has been named to make his AFL debut in Mondayโs Kingโs Birthday clash against Melbourne ๐
Mitch played his community footy for Greenvale and Aberfeldie in the EDFL, and has spent recent years in the VFL at Coburg ๐
He was the leading goal-kicker in the VFL when he was drafted, and we canโt wait to see him make his well-earned debut on Monday ๐คฉ

Congrats to the U16 Victorian boys selected to play in the Marsh AFL National Development Championships ๐
Vic Country and Vic Metro will face off at the Kennedy Community Centre on Monday to begin the Championships ๐๏ธ
The Championships feature the most talented U16 boys footballers from across the country.
Ten teams will compete in two pools, with matches to be played in four states and territories across the next five weeks.

Congrats to East Sandringham JFC product Hugo Hall-Kahan on making his AFL debut last night in a thrilling match against Geelong ๐
Hugo grew up playing for East Sandringham, spent two years on Sydneyโs AFL list and was selected by Adelaide Crows during last weekโs Mid-Season Rookie Draft ๐

The Marsh AFL National Academy Girls will represent Australia for the second time this year when they take on a national All Stars team on Sunday ๐
15 Victorian girls are set to feature across the two sides, with the All Stars comprising players aged 19 and under including 10 Victorians, and the National Academy which features five of this yearโs most talent AFLW Draft prospects from Victoria.

The AFL Victoria leadership team were honoured to attend the final session of the Whitehorse Community Connect Program in partnership with the Sikh Community and Hawthorn Football Club on the weekend.
It was a special day spent learning about Sikh culture, traditions, values, and faith, as well as the opportunity to experience the hospitality of the SGNSS Gurdwara Blackburn - Sikh Temple ๐
By coming together, sharing experiences, and participating in conversations across cultures, we strengthen our ability to create welcoming and inclusive environments within our communities and our game.
