Sorry for the late update from the finale around of the improve production card championship at the always stunning Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Sadly we lost one of the greats from IPRA Victoria in Andrew Rhodes-Anderson RIP mate

With hot weather on Saturday for qualifying and the race. The little Corolla took it up too some of the bigger cars.

Qualifying we finished up 24th out of 28th
Race 1 we continued our epic battle with Wayne Dekker in his Audi 80 Quattro, with a drag race to the flag just edging out Wayne .250 of a second.
Finishing up 23rd

Sundays race 2 started in the wet. Starting out of 23rd we finished up 21st
Race 3 would have to be one of if not the best race I’ve ever had. Again going head to head with Wayne unfortunately he was just had me at the end. Finishing up 21st

At the end of the we finished up 5th outright in Under 2 litre for the year.
And winning under 1600cc out right for the year.

Hear we go. The last around for the year. We tested a fortnight ago down here at Philip Island where we found another second and setting a new PB for the car. We’ve got new shifter cables installed and a once over. It’s going to a hot one. We are still leading the under 1600cc class.

Well all I can say this was a testing weekend. With good car speed on Friday, we were looking the goods. Well that’s until our fortunes turned around. With a broken shifter cables in qualifying in race one. Meant no second gear and fourth gear played the game when it felt like it.
This morning we came up with a plan to solve the issue. Happy to say it worked. Had a great start and made my way forward passed the 5 Excel’s that were in my class under 1600cc. Got to the lead until a plug lead came off. Race 3 we came home with a win with one hell of a race.

Disappointing race 1. We thought we had fixed the gear shifter cables. Unfortunately we didn’t have 2nd gear and struggling selecting 4th gear. The boys at Ravage Raceworks have an idea for the solution.

Qualifying done and dusted. Unfortunately we didn’t get a time after the shifter cables decided they didn’t wanna play the game. So we are starting out of 23rd. Don’t forgot to log into BLEND LINE TV at 1:45 for race 1

Weekend wash up from Rd3 at Sandown. Finished 22nd out of 28. And first in class. Happy with the results considering Sandown is the home of house power.
Friday the exhaust cracked. A quick repair with the help from Chris Collins and Justin Nilsson.
Racing was hectic with the BMW thrown into the mix. The closing speeds was something else.

They certainly call Sandown the Home of Horsepower. Bring somewhat out gunner we kept out of trouble and out of the way of way when being lapped. Still we are leading the under 1600cc class.

Another race track this weekend.
This weekend we were invited to run at Winton Festival of Speed running in Tributes. With 30 cars entered, it was call a regularity. Meaning we had to nominate a lap time. To be safe I decided to set it at 1:33.00. Happy to say we finished 3rd overall.
