Are you part of The Great Resignation?
Are you one of the millions of workers around the globe quitting their job in record numbers?
It’s happening.
Why?
Because Covid has thrown the concept of modern day work up in the air and kicked it high over the fence.
Everything we believed about work…like
🔸 You can only be productive in an office
🔸 You need to work set ‘daytime’ hours
🔸 Working from home is for part timers and parents
🔸 If you have a good job on paper you should stick with it
🔸 Not everyone can have a job they find meaningful and enjoy
🔸 That you’re working hard now for the big pay-off later
These rules are changing.
If you’re re-evaluating the role that work plays in your life. If you’re thinking about what you really want from work, and how to have it, then you’re part of something much bigger.
👇
Next week I’m running a free masterclass on how to go from here to your ideal career.
I’ll show you my signature 5 step framework to design a more satisfying career, figure out what’s next, navigate the change and make it happen 🚀

🧠 "Excuse me brain"
Here's a little hack from my recent confidence masterclass which I got lotsa nice feedback on.
Your brain will always focus on the risk rather than the opportunity, so it helps to interrupt that pattern. And focus on the reward.
The brain is primed to identify risk which is in line with its number one job of keeping you alive. What’s more, your brain views social risks in the same way it does physical ones.
So it can stop you doing things which are a perceived risk but not a real risk. Something like asking for advice from someone in your network, or speaking up in a challenging conversation.
Here’s a quick trick.
When you’re in the moment, do a brief assessment of the risk vs rewards associated with taking action.
For example, if speaking up in a career conversation feels really intimidating for you, ask yourself if I speak up what’s the best thing that can happen and what’s the worst?
The worst that can happen is usually not very bad, but the good could be really good!
Focus on the reward, rather than the risk 🚀
Emily tried it straight after one of the classes and turned a potential confrontation into a positive conversation. Wooohooh!

I'm so excited to announce that Find Your Next is back!
My six week roadmap to help you design your ideal career and find what's next.
And we kick off next week!
Does this sound like you?
🔸 You’ve been thinking about doing something different for a while but haven’t made much progress. It’s just been sitting there in the too hard basket.
🔸 Every time you think about changing things up you feel overwhelmed (It can feel really daunting to leave behind your current career, and ‘take the leap’).
🔸 You’re really want to change your career but don’t know what you want to change it to (this was me).
🔸 You’re afraid of having to ‘start again’ in a new career.
Which means a month can go by and before long it's a year and...you haven't really got started (in my case it was 5 years) 👀
So, here's what happened in the last round of Find Your Next.
🚀Dean launched his consulting business (in Week 3!)
🚀Anna kicked off a side hustle alongside her corporate job
🚀Penny began exploring what careers in sales and farming might look like
And that's just for starters.
So, if you're ready to shake things up in your career, but
have no idea how to make it happen...
Then join me from next Wednesday for 6 weeks of structured, hands-on guidance and support to help you work out what’s next in your career, and give you a step-by-step plan to get there.
DM me with any questions or get all the details here.
Doors close Tuesday.
