Our Certificate III in Carpentry students had an exciting and hands-on site visit at the frame stage this week!

This stage is one of the most critical phases in residential construction, where students get to see the structure come to life β€” from wall frames and roof trusses to bracing and tie-down systems.

πŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈ What students explored:
βœ”οΈ Wall and roof framing techniques
βœ”οΈ Structural components and load paths
βœ”οΈ Bracing and tie-down requirements (as per Australian Standards)
βœ”οΈ Interpretation of construction drawings on-site
βœ”οΈ Safe work practices in a live building environment

This practical exposure helps students bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, building confidence and industry-ready skills.
