Next Sunday is the MSAC Junior Bronze tournament. A one day ability based tournament, perfect for newer and begginer juniors. Run at the home of Squash in Victoria, Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.

Come along and have some fun, make some new friends and get active by playing squash in a great venue and great environment.

ONE MONTH TO GO UNTIL THE AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS!

A big Congratulations to the juniors selected for the Victorian State team that will be competing in the Australian Junior Championships in Devonport, Tasmania (27 Sep - 3 Oct).

Head Coach Cassie Thomas is excited: Myself and the assistant coaches Amelia and CJ are looking forward to watching our Victorian juniors compete against the best juniors across Australia. Preparation has been going well with our juniors taking part in training camps and tournaments both in Australia and overseas. The team has a great mix of experience and debutants so we can’t wait to get started.

Captains to be announced shortly. The 2026 team will look to better their third place finish from last years event in Ballarat.

MMP returns to the show court this week for Round 3 for the start of the showcourt matches.

Starting us off are Focus/Epping v Monash. All matches commence from 7:15pm and will be livestreamed on the S&RV Youtube page, with the link for each fixture posted on the day, or you can always head along to MSAC to watch live.

Vale – John Link

It is with great sadness that Squash & Racquetball Victoria acknowledges the passing of John Link, a Life Member of our organisation and a much-loved ambassador for our sport.

John's contribution to squash in Victoria was both significant and enduring. He gave generously of his time, support and passion to the game, leaving a lasting impact on countless players, clubs and programs across our community. Among his many contributions was his dedicated support of Kooyong Squash's junior program, helping nurture the next generation of players.

John's legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the strength of the squash community he helped build. He will be remembered with great respect and gratitude for his unwavering commitment to our sport.

Our sincere condolences go to John's family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, 5 September, commencing at 11:00 am, at:
