Just before the season started, our U9 Girls had only six players. The girls took it upon themselves to invite friends, spread the word and help grow their team.

Today, they’re up to 15 players!

A fantastic example of teamwork, leadership and the power of making people feel welcome.

At the Vamps, everyone is welcome. Whether you’ve played footy for years or are giving it a go for the very first time, there’s a place for you here.

A huge congratulations to East Brighton Vampire Louis Hooper on his selection in the Vic Metro U16 Boys Squad for the 2026 AFL National Development Championships.

This is a wonderful achievement and a reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment Louis has shown both on and off the field. We are incredibly proud to see another Vampire earn the opportunity to represent Vic Metro at the highest level.

With our Club Big Freeze happening this Sunday night, Team Buntine has already started preparing, holding their own pre-Big Freeze at training last Wednesday!

The girls had an absolute ball and are busy raising money in the hope of earning the chance to dunk their coach on the night. 😂

Remember, every dollar raised goes towards the fight against Motor Neurone Disease and supports the incredible work being done through FightMND!

🧊 THE VAMPS ARE READY FOR THE BIG FREEZE! 🧊

This Sunday at our Back to the Clubrooms Family Night, teams will be raising money for FightMND and earning the chance to ice their coach, assistant coach, team manager or another much-loved team official.

💧 Raise $50 as a team and you earn the right to tip an ice bucket over your chosen victim!

🧊 If the club reaches $2,000, President Michael Beresford will take the plunge and sit in an ice bath for 2 minutes. For every additional $250 raised, another minute will be added, up to a total of 6 minutes.

❤️ Every dollar raised will support FightMND.

Congratulations to three homegrown Vampires on their selection in the Vic Metro Under 18 Squads.

🏉 Henry “Hank” Thomas – 106 games

All three players played their entire junior careers at the Vampires, a testament to their hard work, the support of their families, teammates and coaches, and the strength of our junior football program.
