What an unforgettable experience representing Melbourne Nadro Sangam at the 100 Years Sangam in Fiji 🇫🇯🏆
With over 100 sports teams in attendance across the tournament, we were proud to compete in such a high-level and heated competition against teams from Fiji, New Zealand, Canada, USA, and Australia — and even prouder to finish 3rd out of 16 netball teams 🥉
To be part of such a special event celebrating 100 years of culture, unity, and tradition was truly an honour. The atmosphere, the people, the competition, and the cultural pride shown throughout the week made this an experience we will never forget 💛
A massive thank you to all our family and friends, both near and far, for your constant love and support — and especially to our President, leadership team & coaches and those who travelled with us to Fiji to cheer us on every step of the way. Your support means everything to our team 🤍
To top it all off, we were also proud to come away with 1st Place in Classical Bharatanatyam, performed beautifully by our very own Chaya Reddy 🏆✨
Lastly, big love to our Queensland recruits, Risha & Tanisha💛
It was their first tournament within the Fiji-Indian community & they absolutely showed out. It was such an honour & pleasure to be able to showcase the hidden talent within South Fiji Indian girls!
Vinaka Fiji for the memories, the culture, and the hospitality — until next time Fiji🌺🇫🇯

International Sapphire Series Championship
Hosted by Sydney Sapphires Netball Inc 🏆
A huge vinaka vakalevu to the Sydney Sapphires and all the organisers for hosting such an incredible tournament. The day was filled with culture, talent, great energy and community spirit, and it was clear how much work and dedication went into bringing such a special event together.
From the exciting team performances and infamous team catwalks to the amazing food stalls, the atmosphere truly showcased the strength of our Fijian community. It was also special to see familiar national and international faces from the Fijian Pearls and Baby Pearls, athletes who have proudly represented—and continue to represent—our Fiji nation. It was truly an honour to share the court and compete against some of these incredible players.
We were also privileged to go up against outstanding teams, including Naitasiri South Netball Association from Fiji and two very strong and talented teams from the NSW Fiji Davui Netball Association INC. Our Open Ladies team managed to come away with the win in a thrilling one-point nail-biter, making the moment even more memorable.
For both our Open Ladies team and Mixed team to come away with the win was truly a blessing, with both teams remaining undefeated throughout the entire tournament. We went into the tournament with one goal — to play to the best of our ability and leave everything out on the court. Regardless of the result, as long as we gave it our all, that was all we could have asked for.
We were also incredibly proud to see our very own Nikita Singh take out MVP of the tournament, a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding performance.
It was also special to see our Club President Manjula Reddy take to the court in the Over 40’s division and come away with a win as well, making the day even more memorable for our club.
A special thank you as well to TikTok legend Naveen Saxena () The Hungry Fijian, and Sydney Kava for showing us love from the moment we arrived in Sydney.
Vinaka vakalevu to the organisers, our supporters, and everyone involved for creating such a memorable tournament and making our Sydney trip truly unforgettable.
