BCA would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank Daniel Drew for his outstanding service as Blind Cricket Australia Menโs Coach, following his decision to step down from the role.
Daniel has led the Australian menโs program with humility, commitment and a genuine belief in his players. His calm leadership, cricket knowledge and care for the team helped build a culture based on trust, discipline, pride and respect for the Baggy Green.
Under Danielโs stewardship, the teamโs greatest achievement came in November 2024 on the Gold Coast, where he coached Australia to a memorable whitewash series victory over England.
On behalf of BCA and the wider blind cricket community, we thank Daniel for his significant contribution and wish him every success in his future endeavours.

What a week of Blind Cricket we've had in Perth at the National Cricket Inclusion Championships. After the round robin matches Blind Cricket NSW finished at the top of the table, with three teams finishing in second place on points, with net run rate needed to decide the final order. Blind Cricket South Australia's net run rate secured them second place, Victorian Blind Cricket Association were third, and Queensland Blind Cricket Association finished fourth. West Australian Blind Cricket Club - The Venetians were 5th, and Blind Cricket ACT 6th. In the semi-finals, NSW comfortably won against a valiant but understrength Queensland, while SA and Victoria fought out a high-scoring match that was unfortunately decided through DLS after Victoria's run chase was halted at the fifteen-over mark due to the ground becoming unplayable.
BCA would like to thank Blind Sports Australia for their presence and support across the week; their social media posts have been invaluable to our community.
