Congratulations to both Rory Wood and Freddie Clarke on signing with Aspendale Cricket Club for the 2026/27 Cricket Southern Bayside campaign.

Both Wood and Clarke are products of the Derbyshire County Cricket Club pathway system and will be embarking on their maiden seasons on Australian soil.

Calling Regents Park home for the summer, both players will be looking to make a lasting impact both on and off the field for Aspendale.

We can’t run our club and offer the amazing programs we do, without our volunteers. Would love to see some new faces.

Footy season is about to get underway but that doesn’t mean the planning for cricket season 26/27 isn’t already happening behind the scenes.

Our AGM is a chance to reflect on our last season and set up for next season.

We would love to have you on board.

We are proud to announce joint winners this season 👏

Riley Webster – stepping up to take on the formidable role of running our Cricket Blasters program. The impact of this role can’t be overstated – this is where the love of cricket begins ❤️

Rick Bruce – he’s our Treasurer, but he’s more than just the numbers. He’s the first to lend a hand, no matter the task and is a key part of our community.

Two incredibly deserving winners who embody what our club is all about.

We also would like to take this opportunity to recognise all the members of the committee (and their families) who volunteer their time to the club.
There’s a lot to do, and this dedicated group make sure Thursday night dinners go ahead, everyone has uniforms, kits, cricket balls, and trophies.
They are also spectacular event managers making sure our trivia night, $2K draw and presentation days all run smoothly!

Thanks to Aspendale Trophies for their support this year. You were working to some tight timeframes and once again came through with the goods!

Special thanks to our President Greg Fox and his family for their contribution to the club. It’s an enormous time commitment that he makes look easy!
