New to TC preloved: Our long time client, Rob has a dilemma- 2 locations and 3 machines including a beautiful customised gear pump GS3 I once owned. Something has to give and it’s sadly his white IoT LM Linea mini which was also customised by Rick. It has the highly regarded needle valve mod which turns it into a Slayer killer. The IoT Linea mini is the one you want as it’s a far, far better machine than the current Mini R. The needle valve pre infusion is better than the software version too.

We’ve been inside this machine recently and it has a clean bill of health. It’s in outstanding condition and will keep on doing what it does so well for a long, long time. With Rick no longer in the coffee business, you can’t get a new one even if you had the $11k it would cost. Rob’s pricing of $7.5k sounds pretty fair to me…

Great old photos of my uncle Joe Dimattina in the early days. My first coffee was at 5 years old and it was Mocopan after a Sunday lunch at my grandparents place and I knew then. So began my passion for coffee.

Thank you Joe. Thank you Mocopan and thank you Dimattina. This first wave seeded our incredible coffee culture and was the genesis of so many companies you know and love. 🙏
