A solid start for the Zimbabwean U19s as they defeated Papua New Guinea in a rain reduced 20 over contest. Our own Liam Roche won the toss and bowled and it paid off, as the side from PNG were all out for 95 off the final ball of their innings. Roche finished with impressive figures of 1/7 off 4, with Ambassador Milton Shumba providing solid support with 2/19 from 4 overs. Player of the match went to Wesley Madhevere after the talented allrounder picked up 3/19 and an unbeaten 53 as he and Greg Dollar chased down the total without losing a wicket. Next up, Cricket Australia on Wednesday.

Congratulations to Nkosana Mpofu who struck 116 in his first inning in Australia. Stunner lead the Hoppers Crossing Cricket Club to a strong win against St Bernards. HCCC captain/coach, Greg Kennedy gave praise to the entire 1st XI team, noting that Nkosi 'was in complete control of the game and led us to victory in just a superb performance.' Nkosi is the epitome of what we look for in a brand ambassador; he works hard, leads on and off the field and stands up when his team needs it. All the best for the remainder of the year.
