2025 comes to a close!

What a fantastic year for BJA. So many milestones, achievements and memories made for our team. We celebrated a year of enormous growth on the weekend with our seniors and juniors.

Two classes remain for 2025:

Monday 15/12
Wednesday 17/12

Classes resume on the 12th of January.

We wish everyone a restful break as we prepare for a big year ahead.

Training doesn’t stop just because it’s cold.

Catherine has been with us for nearly two years now. From the day she started, she became a much loved member of the BJA family. She has stayed dedicated and determined from the word go, and her training is paying off in dividends. Well done, Catherine - keep pushing yourself.

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL MEMBERS 📢 ‼️

Our Christmas breakup party takes place on Saturday the 14th.

Seniors to start at 8AM
Juniors to start at 9AM (30 minutes earlier than usual)

The class from 9AM onwards will be a joint class with both our seniors and juniors, with gradings taking place and concluding at 10:30.

Please meet afterwards at Brimbank Park (11:30) for a BBQ.

We cant wait to see you all there. 🎉

Calling all judoka aged 30+! Whether you're a beginner, a seasoned black belt, or somewhere in between, come join us for a relaxed, friendly training session to close out the year on a high note.

Time: 8:30 – 10:30am (perfect for the early risers and breakfast crew!)

This session is all about enjoyment, training at your own pace, and enjoying the company of fellow judoka. No pressure, just a great opportunity to learn, practice, and share in the spirit of judo before the holiday season.
Come as you are – we’d love to see judoka of all skill levels, both men and women, on the mat. Let’s make this session a memorable one!
