Meditation isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about returning to what’s already here beneath the stress, the thinking, the doing.
In Vedic Meditation, you’re given a personal mantra and a technique that works with your system, not against it.
No forcing. No trying to clear the mind.
Just a simple, effortless way back to yourself.
Over 4 days, you’ll learn how to access that space consistently.
And you won’t be doing it alone.
You’ll be stepping into a community of practice that supports you long after the course ends.
If something in you has been asking for this… trust that.
Next courses:
April 16–19
May 28–31

LEARN TO MEDITATE WITH KRISSY - Upcoming Courses
The reviews are in and Vedic meditation is a winner! 🙌🏻🎊 this incredible practice affords us the opportunity to know ourselves more deeply. It builds a relationship that supports us touching on an aspect of ourselves that is unchanging, infinite and full of creative potential. The Yogic scriptures call this the Self or Atman, a wakefulness that exists beyond the movements of our mind.
As we journey inwards to seek this greater Self, which is our very essence, we also encounter parts of us that seem uncomfortable, irritating and a hinderance to our practice. This is in fact one of the great gifts of meditation, the ability the fully engage with, reconcile and resolve parts of our mind body that we have been ignoring, suppressing or running away from. Meditation teaches us how to move through these sticking points, which is a valuable skill that translates into everyday life.
Most of us enter into meditation with the somewhat misguided notion that a successful practice looks like infinite bliss, peace and a completely empty mind and if our relationship with the inner world becomes troublesome, boring or too close for comfort we become frustrated. Like any intimate relationship we cultivate in the external meditation requires patience, commitment, compassion and a deep reverence for the process as it unfolds for us.
Our encounters in meditation, much like in life can be wondrous, baffling, scary and revelatory, they all come with a particular flavour that delivers us the wisdom we need. Like any good relationship meditation changes over time and it is a practice best undertaken with love and support. Know thy Self and awaken to the infinite potentiality of life around you.

🔥 The thing about meditation is, you become more and more you! - David Lynch 🔥
All of the practices we engage with seek to connect us ever more deeply to our own uniqueness, our humanity, our individualities most authentic expression. True mastery in sādhāna doesn’t mute us, dim our personalities or seek to diminish our needs as humans. Rather it slowly chips away at all the mind born ideas and deeply held conditioning that keeps us stuck, contracted and small. Practice reveals to us a more expansive way of being within, that then shines forth in a life fully lived. My personal journey has been one of accepting the fact that I truly love life, I’m a painfully enthusiastic soul 🙃❤️🔥 my role here is to alchemise absolutely everything into the realm of my practice. I refuse to believe that anything exists in isolation outside the realm of wholeness and fullness. The last few years of my practice have felt like a radical journey of self acceptance and honestly it feels like I’m just getting started 🤌🏽 Here’s to yoga that delivers more belly laughs, deep connection, compassion, queerness, authenticity, revelation and love 🙋🏼♀️

As our time in the south of India comes to a close 🇮🇳🪷
Sri Shakti Amma our incredible teacher has once again demonstrated what is possible when we live from the heart ❤️🔥 this trip has made us deeply appreciate the philanthropic nature of Amma’s work here is Tamil Nadu:
Amma’s projects encompass a wide range of initiatives that support education, healthcare, social welfare, reforestation, waste management, women’s empowerment, feeding the masses, disaster relief and so much more. A crucial pillar of what Amma teaches is Seva; to be of service. Witnessing the scale of Amma’s generosity and how she takes the esoteric teachings of spirituality and brings them into potent and powerful action is really inspiring and cuts to the heart of our practice.
This is a reminder for us and for anyone in our community who needs to hear it, Yoga is skill in action. The truest measure of the success of our practice is how it is manifesting in our daily life. We are not trying to get ‘better’ at sitting still and chanting mantras, we are seeking a greater awareness and deeper connection to the living wisdom that is guiding us into powerful, purposeful and aligned action. Remember that each individual’s dharma is unique and the way we express the teachings may look different but is equally important.
Here is to treating each person we encounter with the love, kindness, respect and dignity that is all of our birthright. We truly are the first recipients of that which we share with others 🤍🌸 Jai Ma

✨ Why is meditation important?
Why is it at the heart of spiritual practice?
And why would we take our valuable time to sit and do… nothing?
All incredible questions — and they deserve our sincere enquiry.
Firstly, if “nothing” is happening in meditation, then why isn’t it super easy, accessible, and endlessly gratifying for everyone? Because meditation is far from inert. It’s a revealing practice that asks us to be with life as it is, not as we would like it to be.
As we settle into stillness, we begin to uncover what’s really going on beneath the layers of distraction, fatigue, and overwhelm. This can be confronting — we meet the parts of ourselves we’ve ignored or pushed away in order to survive.
Know that this discomfort is a natural part of every meditator’s journey. It’s the process of releasing limitation — the very tension that manifests as intrusive thoughts, agitation, doubt, fear, anger, sadness… the list goes on.
We don’t have to fix or change any of it.
We simply create a space where the deep intelligence of the mind-body — far beyond our conditioned ideas — can bring us into loving relationship with it. To feel it 🤍
Through this process, meditation also reveals what we are at our very essence.
It brings us into relationship with the intricate layers of body, mind, and energy — and into an alive, aware reality that pervades all things. From here, we begin to live in alignment with our unique role in the great unfolding — our Dharma.
Ultimately, meditation shows us the truth of what we are beyond it all — the witness, pure awareness, the silent container holding every experience — and then asks us to integrate that witness into our eyes-open life 👀
So one aspect of our practice moves through cycles — expanding, contracting, spiralling — always changing as we meet ourselves anew.
The other aspect is timeless: the unchanging truth that we are already home.
That everything is connected. 🌿

Navaratri Retreat 2025 🪷🇮🇳❤️🔥
To host a retreat inside an Ashram in Tamil Nadu with the support of and the guidance of Sri Shakti Amma has been life changing. Our experience of this particular festival in India is one of profound transformation, amounting to months or even years of practice done under other circumstances. The energy of Navaratri grants a higher vision of what is possible and actualises a profound inner shift that ripples through our entire lives, catalyzing the evolutionary process and awakening us to all of the ways we are staying small or cutting ourselves off from love.
The flavour this year (to put it frankly) was ‘heart explosion’ ❤️🔥 through the continued offering of ourselves to practice (Sādhāna), to gathering in community (Satsang) and to selfless service (Seva) the heart opens unambiguously and shows us what’s needed with a directness that cuts through our conditioned ways of thinking, speaking and acting in life. This was a key teaching that Amma offered the night before we began the retreat 🌸
Enjoy this first installment of piccies 🤳🏽 we will be taking some time to rest, ground and integrate before heading home in a few weeks. Sending so much love to our community back home in Melbourne during this wild time we call Navaratri 🔥 Jai Ma 🫂
