New year, new workout?
Come along and try beginner barre dance classes, learn basic technique, tone up, let your inner groove shine.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7.30pm (upstairs at Parker Dance Co).
Beginners or intermediate dancers welcome. A friendly, recreational class, designed to tone your body. Follow at your own place and get into the groove!
Barre moves will help to get the “dancer body” you’ve always dreamed of.
Includes stretch and core workout!

Sometimes it’s good to move s-l-o-w-l-y ☺️✨
To loosen up the spine, recover from computer work, be gentle on your joints, but also feel the benefit of blood flow through your muscles and frame.
1. Stand with feet more than hip distance apart
2. With arms parallel to the floor begin to rotate the torso and arms
3. Mentally focus on fluidity and feel the airflow sensation created by your movement
4. Reach to your full capacity
5. Imagine “sweeping” something with the hands
6. Take the same movement to the floor and reach side to side
7. Be mindful and gentle on your back, only go as far as you feel comfortable.
8. Enjoy a release of your spine and increase in energy ✨
I especially love these movements in the morning to prepare for more strenuous workouts ahead - or whatever adventures the day holds 😌🙌🏼
