Many people are scared to lift a lot of weight because they think they are going to put on a huge amount of size. ❌ Wrong - lifting heavy doesn’t necessarily mean you will gain bigger muscles their are so many factors that go into muscle growth. The biggest reason to lift heavy is to be stronger especially when doing compound exercises like squats (leg press can be an alternative if you have issues squatting). Lifting heavy also burns more calories, gives you better muscle tone. Don’t be afraid to lift more you are only giving your body more of a service if you do.
