Dear customers :Due to COVID-19 local cases in Melbourne, for your health, we will start to measure the temperature of people entering GWBC from tomorrow. You are required to scan the QR code for tracing and contacting purpose. Please wear a mask and keep a safe distance when you are not on the court. We will do our best to disinfect the stadium. To all badminton players and fanatics due to the recent surge in coronavirus. The state premier announced that Victoria will go back into stage 3 lock down as of tomorrow night 11:59pm. This lockdown will include indoor sports centres (badminton centres) so as of tomorrow 8th of July Wednesday we will operate as usual and be closed at 11:00pm until the lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

REOPENING NOTICE

To all customers,

Glen Waverley Badminton Centre will reopen on 22 June (Monday). We must adhere and obey to the strict guidelines that the Victorian government has applied which means there can only 20 participants inside an indoor sports centre. Temporary booking policies and rates will executed until the government updates further easing of restrictions.

Temporary Booking Session🏸️

Monday to Friday (total 6 sessions, 2hours per session)
10:00-12:00，12:00-14:00，14:00-16:00，16:00-18:00，18:00-20:00，20:00-22:00
Saturday and Sunday (total 7 sessions, 2hours per session)

How to book🏸️

With the new guidelines issued by the government, we must keep a list of participants name and contact number entering our stadium. By emailing us these details will speed up the whole process.

Here is an example of the format that should be used below,
Date: 23 June
Session: 16:00-18:00
Total people: 2 (Note: Max of 4 participants allowed in 1 booking)
Person 1: Eric Wang 0402666666(the first one should be contacts)
Person 2: Amy Zhang 0411888888

We will confirm your booking as soon as possible, prepaid charges may apply.

GWBC将于6月22日 重新开放，将会执行最多20人的限制，因此我们将实施临时的订场规则和收费标准，详见如下。于此同时，球馆内的更衣室，饮水机，淋浴房都将禁止使用。卫生间和洗手池可以正常使用。

预定时间段🏸️

周一到周五分为6个时间段，10:00-12:00，12:00-14:00，14:00-16:00，16:00-18:00，18:00-20:00，20:00-22:00

周六和周日分为7个时间段，8:00-10:00，10:00-12:00，12:00-14:00，14:00-16:00，16:00-18:00，18:00-20:00，20:00-22:00

As you know all non-essential activities will shut down in Victoria as the state government introduces drastic measures to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Therefore, GWBC will cease operations from 12pm Mon 23rd March 2020 until further notice.

Dear customer: According to the Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced at 15th of March 2020, people under any of the following situation are not allowed to entry our badminton center: 1, people return to Australia within 14 days. 2, anyone who has the symptoms of the coronavirus, such as fever, sore throat. For everyone’s health and safety, our badminton center guarantees that we are disinfected twice a day, ensure ventilation at daytime, and we provided hand sanitizer at reception for customer’s needs.
