The growing fleet of Impulses at Safety Beach would love to see a few visitors at the next Traveller's race coming up soon at Safety Beach Sailing Club on Sunday 26th April.
Race 1 is at 2pm and there will be 2 races sailed in the afternoon.
No Race fees payable, Lunches available from their kiosk.
The Traveller's Race will be Race 1. Hope to see you there!

Just over a week to go now before the Vic State Championship at Portarlington. The weather forecast is looking favourable. Great to see a couple of Tasmanian boats entered. Early bird entry expires at midnight on Sunday 1st March, enter now to avoid paying the full entry.

Enter before midnight on Sunday 15th Feb to go into the draw. Want some practice before the states? Travellers Series race at Williamstown Sailing Club coming up soon on Saturday 21st February would be ideal. A great club in the heart of the Port of Melbourne, a solid Impulse fleet, relax on the deck after sailing (actual view pictured!) Briefing at 12:50pm for a start at 2:00pm.

Travellers Series Race next Sunday 25th January at Inverloch.

The travellers heat forms part of a series of 6 races being held at SGYC over the weekend commencing on Saturday 24th for a 1.30 start 2 races back to back. Sunday 11 am is the Travellers Race and another race at 1.30 and Monday 11 and 1.30.

Lunches available on the Sunday and Monday and if anyone needs help with accommodation please let us know and we will see if we can help out.

Hey all. Happy Christmas and looking forward to catching up with everybody at the Impulse Nationals at Altona. Big thanks to our Sponsors, Riley, VIC Survey and MD Spars. Also one exciting announcement and just one reminder: The reminder is we still have time to enter. Numbers are well down than expected with 34 entries from Victoria, 5 from NSW and 1 from QLD. Let’s get onto our state members and try and rally up some excitement and numbers. It’s going to be a great event. The announcement is, whilst not an official division, there will be a 100kg and up skipper division which will attract some handy prizes at presentation. I’m personally calling it the MO division!!!! Ask me later 😂. Russ.

Fantastic to see 10 Impulses at Cairn Curran's annual regatta last week. Well done to Mat Kiely on taking out the traveller's heat and the regatta. Next Traveller's race is at Altona this weekend 13th Dec. Short course racing all day from 11am, traveller's heat is the first race in the afternoon after lunch. Hope to see a few Impulses there, it'll be great practice for the Nationals! Altona have their Christmas breakup dinner in the evening, any Impulse sailors wanting to stick around for that are welcome but please contact Commodore Paul Lindemann 0456 423 355 so the club knows how many visitors to expect. $10 per meal.
