Unfortunately, due to the predicted rain on Saturday, we have made the decision to cancel the barbecue that the Red Cross were kindly going to run for us.

Donations are still very welcome. The Salvation Army is such a wonderful and charitable community organisation, and we would still love to support them. If you would like to make a donation, please give it to Ronnie and she will ensure it is passed on appropriately.

That said, there will no doubt still be a few of us heading down to the bowling club for a drink, rain or shine! Even if the weather is ordinary, I’m sure there will still be some familiar faces around. We’d love to see you if you feel like coming along.

As the event has been cancelled, there’s no need to wear red.

Sorry that we won’t be able to hold the event as planned, but thank you all for your understanding and continued generosity.

Our practice sessions are open to everyone — whether you’re completely new to bowls, wanting to improve your game, or one of our members looking for some extra practice and fun. We have a welcoming, social atmosphere and would love to see you there.

❤️ Camberwell Bowls Club Supporting the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal ❤️

Join us on Saturday the 30th for our regular social bowls day, with a special community spirit as we support the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal.

We’ll be enjoying our normal social game, followed by a barbecue at around 2:30pm. We encourage all members to wear something red on the day and, if possible, bring along a cash donation for the barbecue. Any extra contribution for the Salvation Army donation box would also be greatly appreciated.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to come together, have some fun, and show our care and support for others in our community.

We hope to see a fantastic turnout for what promises to be another fun and meaningful day at the club! ❤️

What a fantastic night we had at the Camberwell Bowls Club Presentation Evening last night! 🎉

It was wonderful to celebrate our trophy winners and recognise everyone’s achievements throughout the season. But the fun didn’t stop there — we also had an auction, raffle, “guess how many lollies in the jar,” baby photo guessing games, and some absolutely hilarious activities that had everyone laughing all night! 😂

A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone who helped organise such a memorable evening — your hard work truly made the night special.

If you’ve ever thought bowls might be a bit boring… think again! 😉 Camberwell Bowls Club is full of fun, friendship, laughter, and a fantastic community spirit. Everybody is welcome, and we’d love to see some new faces down at the club.

Camberwell bowls club have been busy removing the old shelters and tidying up the garden. Thank you to all volunteers who helped with massive job! During winter we will be working hard to get the new ones up before Pennant season!

Presentation night - Congratulations to Chris McVeigh for winning the Novice Championship, and Greg West for winning the Open Singles Championship. Greg also won the Open Pairs, Mixed Pairs and Triples with family! A stellar bowls season! Thanks to the organisers of the night.
