“I don’t care what I weigh” when there is a desire to feel leaner, stronger + healthier sets most people up to fail.

You can care about your weight or have had your fair share of sh*tty diet experiences, but not want to let it dictate your mindset when wanting to make healthier changes.

Learn how to make it work by measuring different metrics & taking a different approach 💛

When you set a weight goal or are aiming for a certain look, don’t forget about the bigger picture too 💛

Nothing like a Monday morning “journal” ✍🏼📝

But there was a trend today…

A lot of people assume the shame, stress or guilt they feel towards themselves is shared by their trainers. I promise you, it’s not like that here.

Successful coaching is all about team work!

In this day & age where we are all so busy, there’s a million things to do and sleep to be had - I see zero benefit in sacrificing precious sleep & running off no systems.

Agree/disagree? How do you make your mornings run smoother without needing to sacrifice your 7-8 hours sleep?

Eating less isn’t always the answer.
Especially in beginners.

If you’re someone who typically eats a low calorie diet....

You don’t need to eat less.
You might need to eat MORE.

More protein.
More fuel.
More strength.
More muscle.

The goal isn’t to become really good at eating as little as possible.

It’s to lose body fat while eating a great amount of food and training a few times a week to maintain your muscle + optimum health 💛

If you multiply your weight by 1.6x - that’s the minimum protein you want to consume.

Research suggests the sweet spot is 1.6-2.2x

I think it’s important to assess the climate that we are in, and not go by “rules” that might not even be relevant anymore.

We overconsume calories and severely undereat in nutrients.
And I don’t believe protein needs the spotlight that it currently has.

Want to improve your health and results?

Think plant fibre - vegetables, carbohydrates from your wholefood starches, beans, lentils, fruit.

Things that don’t come in a packet.

Keen to hear your thoughts! 💭
