NAIROBI 🇰🇪2026 — AFRICA’S ELITE IS READY!

The wait is over. The venue and dates are officially confirmed.

STING SPORTS and African Boxing are proud to announce that Nairobi, Kenya, will host the much-awaited African Boxing Elite Men’s and Women’s Championships 2026, from 15–28 October 2026.

This is the FIRST African Boxing Championships with STING SPORTS since the announcement of our new long-term partnership with African Boxing, becoming its Official Boxing Equipment Supplier.

African Boxing is the continental governing body for Olympic-style boxing in Africa, overseeing all affiliated national federations.

With the full support of the Government of Kenya, the Kenya National Olympic Committee, and the resilient Kenya Boxing Federation, Nairobi is ready to welcome Africa’s finest elite boxers for a major continental celebration of Olympic boxing, sporting excellence and African unity. 🇰🇪🥊🌍

The ground is set. The stage is ready. Africa’s elite will meet in Nairobi.

National Federations can now begin their preparations and ensure that their teams are ready for what promises to be one of the major highlights of the African Olympic boxing calendar.

📘 The Official Competition Handbook will be circulated in the coming hours, with all essential information regarding registration, participation, competition procedures, technical requirements and key deadlines.

This Championship is more than a competition. It is an opportunity to showcase the strength, talent and ambition of African Olympic boxing on the continental stage.

Nairobi is calling.

STING and African Boxing have signed a new long-term partnership, with STING becoming African Boxing’s Official Boxing Equipment Supplier. 🥊🌍

Through the partnership, STING will provide competition gloves, protective equipment, hand wraps, tape and training equipment used by boxers at official African Boxing tournaments, including the African Boxing Championships.

STING will also contribute technical expertise and advice on the development of competition equipment and support the continued growth of athletes, competitions and boxing across the continent.

We are proud to stand alongside African Boxing as its athletes prepare to compete on the continental and international stage.
