One of the best parts of being part of Twisters isn't just learning new skills—it's the friendships that are made along the way.

We've seen teammates become best friends, families form lifelong connections while cheering from the sidelines, and coaches create an incredible team that supports one another every single day. Those relationships are what make our club so much more than just a place to train.

The skills our gymnasts learn are important, but the friendships, support and sense of belonging they gain are just as valuable. 💛🤸

🎉🎉Congratulations to the following coaches for being the June winners of the Core Value Coach Awards! 🎉🎉

NORTHCOTE – Felix shows so much care for every gymnast and Trickster that walks through the door. He makes them feel welcome and included from the moment they enter the gym. He has so much fun with his gymnasts while giving excellent progressions and corrections to ensure his classes always feel challenged and are having fun, of course! He has taken initiative with his education and is always keen to learn more. Felix has recently attained his Silver Accreditation, so you will see him leading his own classes very soon. Keep it up, Felix; Twisters is lucky to have you!

SHOWGROUNDS –Grace truly embodies our value of Dedication to Go Beyond. This "Cover Queen" is always willing to step in and help wherever she's needed, often covering classes at short notice without hesitation. No matter which class she's coaching, Grace creates a calm, positive environment where gymnasts feel supported, confident, and ready to learn. Her encouraging coaching style and natural ability to connect with the kids means they listen, engage, and thrive in her classes. Grace's reliability, flexibility, and willingness to always go the extra mile make her an invaluable member of the Twisters team. Thank you for everything you do, Grace!

TORQUAY –Lucas consistently demonstrates a genuine desire to learn and improve. He is always asking thoughtful questions of his fellow coaches about lesson planning, coaching techniques, and skill progressions so he can continue developing into the best coach he can be. Lucas isn't afraid to seek advice or try new approaches, and his curiosity and willingness to learn make him a valuable member of the team.

This fortnight, our Tiny Tornadoes are making a splash as they climb like crabs, balance like sea turtles, jump over the waves, and explore the gym through fun ocean-inspired activities! Every class is packed with movement, imagination, and plenty of smiles. 🌊✨
