BODY MANAGEMENT @ METS π©Ίπ
RESTING METABOLIC RATE (RMR)
Assessing your RMR provides a critical insight into how much energy is utilized to power basic human function. Combine this with training habits and lifestyle physical activity and youβve now got a more complete picture to manage your energy balance. Whether that be more accurately pinpoint a calorie deficit range for weight loss, build a surplus to gain size or simply maintain a healthy energy balance, matching your training outputs with enough energy input to reduce the risk of energy deficiency leading to illness, burnout and injury.
INBODY BODY COMPOSITION SCAN
Provides a detailed breakdown making up the weight on the scales. Insights into fat mass, body fat %, skeletal muscle mass, segmental breakdown of fat and muscle mass, and more. A more contextual way of measuring body composition change than simply body weight, but also can provide some unique insight into estimated carbohydrate storage potential relevant for tailoring race fueling strategies.

Shoutout to .ashman who finished 2nd female in her first ever marathon 2 weeks ago πͺ Kita followed a standard polarised training program consisting of 1-2 sessions of very high intensity, mixed with 3-4 easy endurance runs, building the long run volume up in a manageable way. The first of many marathons we suspect!
