Tony and myself will come up for tennis on Tuesday, lets see how the temperature goes, and then see what we want to do


We had 22 members, arrive to play tennis and enjoy morning tea.
This is now another 2 more than our best numbers we have had in a long time as we come to the end of the holiday season.

We welcome Renee who is a member of Coatesville and our club, Renee plays on Monday and Wednesday nights here and Tuesday at Coatesville in the morning.
Renee is a very good player and hopes to come and play with us as often as she can and might even leave coatesville early.

After discussions with a number of members it was decided the end of year Christmas party
Would be held after tennis at about 12.30 on the 16Th December
Once again Peter will arrange the food and Monica and our sub committee will be coming on the Monday
Before the Christmas party to set up.

Thankyou to Rod who will be making a cash donation towards the cost of the party.

There is a rumor that the Rust Brothers could be back for a second concert

Although the Rust Brothers are in big demand and booked out, they have decided Click Me!
That they might be able to fit in a free performance for us
Manager and Director Andrew Mclean has promised big things Click Me! Click Me!
There will be new songs and a performance never seen before.

Bank balance from last week was $657.26, we received $36.00 in members fees and spent $17.70 on pies and biscuits.
Leaving a balance of $675.56 in the bank.
After adding the float of $40.00, there is $715.26 in members funds.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS IN JULY FUNCTION

Our annual Christmas In July function was a huge success
There was plenty of food and drinks and joviality throughout the day.
The RUST BROTHERS Featuring Andrew Barry and Tony WERE A HUGE SUCCESS
Andrew was group leader, production manager music director
Andrew did a great job setting the equipment up streaming video to the TV and Leading The Team
Some of our members asked for special requests which we played.

Our next monthly lunch will be held on the 5Th August at 12.30 PM
Nola has since had a meal with the Boundary Hotel and feels it was not suitable for members at this stage.

Our Venue has now been changed to the CHELTENHAM RSL
Nola will book for 20 members and confirm more accurate numbers on the morning.

John came to tennis went home after tennis and re-appeared in the afternoon to do at least 2 hours court maintenance

Andrew Mclean will be purchasing new suppies of coffee pods for tennis including our Christmas in July function
It is great to see everyone looking after our coffee machine and asking questions when they have concerns on how to use it.
