Stand Up Self Defence

Stand Up Self Defence Stand Up Self Defence teaches you to defend yourself and have confidence. The founder of Stand Up Self Defence is Evan Lakos.

Our teaching methods combine Boxing, Kickboxing, Thai Boxing and general self defence principles Evan is a former WKA State Cruiser Weight Kickboxing champ. Evan is registered as a professional and combat sports trainer. He was taught and trained by the late Master Dana Goodson and has over 25 years combat sports experience. Evan has taught throughout several gyms in Melbourne and is currently at PowerPlay in Brunswick and is available for one on one training and small groups. Personal Training sessions are held at Doherty's Gym in Brunswick. Evan also offers several fitness programs designed to build strength and cardio endurance. These are:
- "The Spartan Shield Challenge" and
- "The 3 min of fury Challenge (this workout goes for 10 x 3 min rounds). All levels of experience are welcomed, from beginners through to advanced. For more information call or email Evan.
