First heat out was heat 2 for the class, the track was in great condition and fast, the program moved through quickly and Andrew was back out again for heat 4, had a pretty good race unfortunately there was a small amount of contact with one of the cars, he took it personally and intentionally put Andrew in the wall on the last lap.
Luckily no major damage as he saved it pretty well. Other car was given a penalty and lost 2 spots. We do have camera footage from both inside and outside of the car....
Rain stopped racing, we did wait it out unfortunately the grader broke down and the meeting got called off early.
Anyway, gonna go ahead and "fk off back to Nyora" 🤣

Rushworth Speedway
Started the weekend with a bulging disk and an emergency trip to the chiro, despite that Andrew was still keen to race
This track is the fastest he's been to in the streety, it was also rough and slippery but got the hang of it by the finals.
Starting in 17th for the 30 lap final and crossing the checkard in P6. Happy with that and lucky the tyre decided to go flat after the race, not during 👏🏼
Looking forward to the next one before the season end for Speedway

Weekend recap!
We came into this weekend with a fresh engine and a bit of a stale car.
Visually not up to standard and prep not quite where we usually are.
We came out strong for Qualifying with a P2 and only .07 off Magilton Racing
Ryan was happy with that considering old tyres, old brakes and possibly a bit off the pace after a year off.
Race 1 - P3 - The shifter coming loose on lap one caused a bit of chaos and a scramble for 2nd gear causing a rub with Steve Banks (sorry mate)
Race 2 - P3 - A great race with Banksy, trading positions a couple of times and having a ball. Still having a brake locking issue and struggling to get power down on the straights.
Race 3 - DNF - Finally got the traction issue sorted and we were in P2 looking to chase down Andy, then the temp started going up, and the pinging started. Ryan tried to nurse it home in P4 while being hunted down by Andrew McLeod ultimately blowing the head gasket with 1 lap to go.
Our first DNF since 2019 which is a testament to Adam Wolfman Woods at HSD Cylinder Heads for our rocket engine and unreal reliability.
