Marco’s journey with The 12th Player Academy has been built on commitment, consistency and belief. He’s shown up for his training, trusted the process, and even took his development overseas with us to Portugal, all experiences that have shaped him as both a player and a young person.

This selection is a reflection of the hard work he’s put in behind the scenes. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch that effort translate into real opportunities.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.. supporting young players as they work towards turning their dreams into reality.

Today we lost one of our own legends.

For those of you who were fortunate enough to have met George Papageorgiou, you will agree this special man was well and truly part of the football family in Melbourne.

I was lucky enough to have spent time with George at the Academy and to have known him since our Dandy City days 8 years ago.
Full of life, vibrant, funny as f #@$ and a good friend to so many of us.
But more than all those things he was an incredibly devoted father to his 2 boys who he doted on, did everything for and raised into fantastic young teenagers.

You will be sorely missed mate. We will do everything we can to support your boys moving forward

⚽ Term 3 Launch with Traralgon Olympians SC!

We’re thrilled to have officially kicked off Term 3 in partnership with delivering our Development Program to their talented group of players!

From the first session, the energy, focus, and enthusiasm on display were incredible. Players were split across two groups and got stuck into drills designed to sharpen their core skills, build spatial awareness, boost football IQ, and most importantly, have fun. 🙌

Huge thanks to Traralgon Olympians SC for welcoming us into their community.. we're looking forward to a big term of growth, learning, and passion on the pitch! 💙⚽

Our Oakleigh Grammar teams absolutely killed it at the Futsal state championships and making it more special was the fact that they were the only school to compete against other academics! An amazing achievement and a great result. 🏆⚽
