Mannix College Student Society is the student club of Mannix College, a fully-catered residential college affiliated with Monash University in Clayton.
Mannix College Student Society (MCSS) Incorporated is a not for profit volunteer student organisation run by an elected Committee of fourteen residents who are passionate about enriching College life and the unique experience it offers. The committee plans, organises and executes a selection of awesome events and activities throughout the year for the benefits of the residents of Mannix, with the
aim of making the college as exciting as possible and enhancing students' university experience. We pride ourselves on giving every single member value for money and the opportunity to display their talents and most importantly to have a great time! The MCSS is also an important gateway of communication between the administration and students of Mannix and will always try to help with any issues that students may have. All student residents of Mannix are automatically made members of the Society. The objectives of MCSS Incorporated are:
1. To work in the interests of all residents of the College but more particularly, those of the members of the society.
2. To promote academic, cultural, social and sporting activities within the College.
3. To promote, foster and develop co-operative relationships with Mannix College, and between Mannix College and the Halls of Residence societies; the greater population of Monash University; other Australian collegiate residences, and NAAUC.
4. To provide a means of liaison between the Principal and Dean and the residents of the College and to present the views of the residents to the Principal and Dean and the University authorities.
