Did you know that certain hashtags are banned by Instagram??

Using these hashtags can get you shadowbaned and directly affect the reach of your posts?

Shadowbanning is where Instagram actively restricts your content from showing up for your listed hashtags as well as in your follower’s feeds.

The only way for people to see your posts is for them to type your name into the search and go directly to your profile.

A quick way to check if a hashtag is banned before using it is to use a little tool created by IQHASHTAGS (just search for them in google)

You can copy you hashtags into their tool and it will tell you if any are on the banned list

𝐀/𝐁 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 – 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭?

A/B Testing or split testing is a powerful method to test small changes in your marketing or advertising and helps to remove a lot of the guess work.
How it works

1. Create 2 versions of the same piece of marketing with only 1 change
EG. The picture, the headline, the colour of the buy it now button, etc

2. Take a small segment of your audience and split them into 2 groups. Send the 1st group version 1 and the 2nd group version 2

3. See which one performs better and keep the winner or use the winner to run more tests before sending it out to your whole audience

This is great one for testing those Christmas emails before they go out to your whole list

𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝?? 𝐎𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞??

I know that sounds a little dramatic, but constant discounting is just the fast way for you and your competitors to race your way to the bottom.

It never ends well and there will always be someone willing to go lower.

Constant discounting only eats into your ability to cover your overheads and sends a message to your customers that they shouldn’t buy anything off you unless it’s on sale.

Instead look at how you can give your customers a better deal by adding more value to your products and services so you no longer have to compete on price.
