Macquarie Ice Rink has been part of Sydney's since 1981. It's where Olympic champions trained, where AIHL teams have had it out on the ice, and where generations of Sydneys locals found their feet for the first time on skates.

For over forty years, it's been a place people come back to. After an eight-month, multi-million-dollar transformation, it's reopened — and we're proud to have played our part.

Working alongside RBS Projects and Bluecube Seating, Ace Seating delivered 1,127 Centura CT300 Galaxy Blue seats to a venue that's earned every one of them. The Best Seat in the Sydney.

Our team has been on-site hand-measuring and building every aspect of this build, ensuring a finish that's built to last and look beautiful doing it. From the flooring, to the steps, installing every last seat and the carpet finish.

A lot of our projects show the seating systems and how they work in the project overall, but we also love to show how the overall system feels when you're in it.
From the carpet detailing, to the view on court and how the colour themes of each seat can bring you right into the atmosphere of the day.

Working within communities is at the heart of Ace Seating through and through, so when we had the opportunity to work with the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre, it was one we had to take.

Named after one of Albury's most iconic sporting figures, the centre is a true community hub — a place where the next generation of athletes train, compete, and fall in love with the game. It deserved seating that could match the energy in the room.

We supplied and installed our Centura seats throughout the venue, delivering the comfort, durability, and spectator experience that a facility of this level demands.
With this, we also included:
— LED aisle lights for improved visibility and safety
— Carpet deck finish in Nolans Raider for a premium, polished look
— VIP seating with integrated cupholders in the front rows of the wall-attached unit
