Move, Breath, Heal.
This isn’t just fitness. This is healing.

As a first responder, I was trained to stay calm in chaos—but inside, I was carrying years of unspoken trauma. I lived in survival mode, numbing myself with alcohol, pushing through depression, and trying to outrun PTSD.

Martial Arts gave me a way to fight back—physically & mentally.
Breathwork helped me emotionally. I was able to reconnect with myself, calm my nervous system, and release what I’d buried deep inside. It opened the door to healing when nothing else could.

That’s why we created this event.
A space to move, breathe, and heal.

You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be at your best.
Just come as you are—with your breath, your story, and your willingness to show up.
Are you ready? Drop a ā€˜let’s go!ā€ Below šŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ’ŖšŸ»

From the very clever Layne Norton aka @biolayne, go give him a follow for more gold! Exercise is Medicine for the Body & Mind
For many decades, science viewed the mind & body as separate. If things were going on in your head, they had to be solved inside the head either through therapy, medication, or surgery. If something was wrong in your body it had to be fixed in the body either through medication or surgery.
In the last decade we have come to a much more holistic understanding to realize that the mind & body can’t be separated. What happens in the body affects the mind & what happens in the mind affects the body. For example, psychological stress can objectively increase pain sensitivity, raise the risk for autoimmune disorders, cancer, heart disease & mortality (PMIDs: 31568044, 29922828, 38108025,
33150108, & 33453384)
The reverse is also true. Exercise helps improve symptoms of several autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, Alzheimer’s, & improves cognitive function (PMIDs:
29108826, 37429171, 37334441, & 37924980)
Exercise has a hormetic effect whereby it provides a controlled dose of a stressor & your body responds by getting better at handling the stressors, kind of like a vaccine. For example, in the short term, exercise increases your blood pressure, heart rate, inflammation, oxidative stress, cortisol, & can even raise your blood glucose. All these changes are short term & in the long term regular exercise decreases heart rate, inflammation, oxidative stress, cortisol, & blood glucose
Whether you want to feel better, look better, or be mentally sharper, exercise cann make a huge difference. Get active! 19/03/2025

šŸ”„ Rise & Thrive with Cold Showers ā„ļø

Every morning, before I do anything else, I step into an ice-cold shower. No warm-up, no hesitation—just straight into the cold. Why? Because cold exposure is one of the most powerful tools for the body and mind.

Backed by science and championed by Wim Hof, cold exposure can:

šŸ”¹ Supercharge Your Mood – Cold water triggers a dopamine release up to 250% (higher than some recreational drugs!), leaving you feeling energized, focused, and ready to attack the day.

šŸ”¹ Strengthen Your Resilience – You don’t want to step into that cold water, but you do it anyway. That’s discipline. That’s mental toughness. That’s training your mind to overcome discomfort.

šŸ”¹ Boost Fat Loss – Cold exposure activates brown fat, the good kind of fat that burns energy to keep you warm. This increases metabolism and helps your body burn more calories, even at rest.

šŸ”¹ Supercharge Immunity – Studies show that cold exposure increases white blood cell production, making you more resilient to sickness and stress.

šŸ”¹ Reduce Stress & Inflammation – Cold therapy decreases cortisol and lowers systemic inflammation, which is linked to everything from anxiety to chronic disease.

The first 10 seconds suck. Your breath shortens, your mind screams to get out. But then… you adapt. Your breath slows. Your mind settles. You take control.

And when you step out of that shower, you’ve already won. You’ve conquered your first challenge of the day.

šŸ’ Ready to test your limits? Try a cold shower first thing in the morning and tag me—I want to know how it changes your energy, mindset, and resilience.
