Sadly tennis courts are to remain closed until October 19th, so therefore coaching cannot resume at this time.
I'll be counting down the days until my return to coaching and hope you all stay fit and healthy until we can resume.

Tennis coaching is still running during the latest lock down restrictions. However, it is currently only private or semi private lessons until restrictions are lifted.
Don't miss an opportunity to have a lesson with me if you have time on your hands.
Tennis coaching is back and all programs are running as usual.
There are safety measures in place to keep everyone safe. The clubhouse will remain closed so parents bringing children should remain in their cars if possible. Bring your own hand sanitiser and use it before and after lessons(the club will also supply some for people who forget ). Social distancing will also need to be practised during and after lessons.
We encourage you to download the COVIDSafe app.
If we all do the right thing now then tennis can continue on as usual and competition can return in the not too distant future.
Ian
With some of the current restrictions being lifted from midnight tonight (Tuesday 12 May) it's looking possible that tennis could be back soon.
We still have to wait for the official word from councils and Tennis Victoria but it's getting close.
I will be in touch as soon as I know more.

COACHING NEWS 🙂
Updated COVID-19 Community Tennis Guidelines for Continued Play
Dear Coaches,
Following the most recent Federal and State Government announcements, Tennis Australia has updated the COVID-19 Community Tennis Guidelines for Continued Play. These guidelines are an attempt to provide advice for all involved at the community level on the safest way to continue playing.
There are still ways that we can play tennis with some important restrictions that ensure we are operating in a way that adheres to the expert health advice. Key updates in the new guidelines include:
-All indoor courts and gyms are to be closed immediately.
-Court hire, individual or small group coaching can continue (max. 4 people)
-Venues with a café or restaurant are restricted to take-away service only.
-Coaches and venues are being asked to consider changes in their day-to-day operations.
-The immediate future of our sport is in our own hands, and we all have a part to play.
-Failure to comply with Government guidelines in regards to social gatherings and social distancing will result in even more stringent regulations, which could potentially lead to a full lockdown of our sport. Let's work together to demonstrate a level of social responsibility, so we can keep tennis open and provide an appropriate outlet for the people in our communities.

Should you have any questions regarding COVID-19 in regards to Tennis, please contact your Coach Development Team.
