Connecting Across the RS Dealer Network: A Visit from our Australian Dealer Many of our dealers, just like the team here at RS Sailing, are sailors first and foremost. Our Australian distributor, Rhett Gowans, is no exception.

Managing Director - Rhett Gowans, has been overseas racing, finishing the trip off with a visit to our trusted suppliers - RS Sailing & Rooster.

The trip started with attending the RS Games in Travemunde, Germany.

"The RS Games truly was an eye opening experience. 915 sailors, 30 countries represented, shows the global sailing community how strong the RS brand is!"

12 RS classes competed, with the RS Aero having the strongest showing, with a whopping 198 entries!

"There was great comraderie in the boat park, with post-race events running well into the night each evening. It's such a friendly class and a pleasure to be involved in"

Rhett then travelled around Europe for a few weeks before ending his trip at both RS & Rooster.

"It was great to get over to the UK and visit both RS and Rooster. I have been working with some of the staff for close to 10 years, so it was invaluable to go put a face to a name.

It was fantastic to get an insight into day to day operations, how both companies receive & process orders, new product developments on the horizon and what the future has installed for both companies."

With the RS Aero Worlds around the corner, the Sailing Raceboats team will have a busy 6 months preparing for the event & servicing the rapidly growing RS Aero fleet.

We look forward to welcoming Rhett back on the 24th August.

Congratulations to Geneveive Wickham and Grant Alderson who have come away as Champions of the RS Venture Connect European Championships in Travemünde, Germany!

Geneveive and Grant won both Gold Fleet races on the final day, and also claimed the Inclusion Championship title.

Sugarloaf SC enjoys a veritable smorgasbord of RS boats, from the RS Tera to RS 500 and just about everything in between! One of the biggest varieties in the country.

Only an hour or two out of Melbourne they are well worth checking out!
