Over the past 8 weeks, I had the pleasure of helping Max King prepare for the AFL Draft specifically for the 2km time trial. Yesterday, he smashed out a new pb of 6.49min, pretty handy for speed athlete.

Good luck .king15 for the rest of the draft trials, I know you are well prepared by and I can’t wait to hear the results 💪

Congratulations to our longtime senior squad member, Emi who represented Australia last weekend, as part of the Australian Lifesaving Team 💚💛

She missed cross country season this year due to injury, but refocused to work on her speed for the sprint and flags and went on to win the beach sprint and finish 2nd in flags.

Next up, she will represent Australia again in the International Surf Rescue Challenge in New Zealand in November.

Congratulations to all of our runners who raced last week at the state cross country championships.

Shout out to those we made the NSW All Schools Team and our CHS medalists.

I’m so proud of everyone, for your commitment to training in some pretty wet conditions this season. We had a few runners who missed racing due to injury or illness which is always disappointing and frustrating but there is always another race and you’ll be back stronger.

Congratulations to everyone in the squad who raced at the NSW Surf Lifesaving Championships and NSW Junior Athletics Championships over the weekend.

We had lots of pbs and medals won. Everyone is looking forward to Aussies and National Track & Field.
