Caulfield Cricket Club

The club is delighted to announce that will be joining us to play in season 2026/27 and beyond, coming across to us from St Kilda CC.

Luke brings a wealth of experience both on and off the field - with a strong background in coaching across a number of channels, Luke will also be joining us as an assistant coach to the senior teams and coach our Craig Shield side.

Beyond the trophies and the stats, last Friday was a testament to the community that makes Caulfield Cricket Club what it is. While the awards recognize individual excellence, the night was about celebrating the collective effort of every player, member, and supporter who donned the green and gold this season.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be a fairy-tale finish to the season, with the 2s falling 16 runs short in the .

However it is an unbelievable effort by and his team to be in the big dance in 5 consecutive seasons!

And then there was one. One last game of the 2025/26 season, and we are proud to have a team playing in it.

What an awesome effort it has been by and his men, to be in the last dance for a FIFTH consecutive season.
We come up against Oakleigh for a third time over this time too, and one team will go ahead in the ledger.

Good luck to all the players selected for this weekend, but also a congratulations to all players that have played in the 2s this season. You all played a vital part in getting the team to the GF, even if you haven't been selected for it.

What a grind it was over the weekend, but we are delighted for our 2s to be playing in their 5th consecutive , and going for their 3rd flag in that time.

On Saturday after winning the toss and batting, we were sitting 5-65 after 38 overs. But it was a 95 run 6th wicket stand between .page (112*) and (33) over the next 30 overs that got us to the 200+ mark.

On Sunday, after taking the first wicket in the 13th over (1-36), the second didn't fall until the stroke of tea (2-95 off 44). On the back of 's 5fa, 8-92 was taken off the next 30 overs, and we celebrated going into yet another grand final.

At this stage, the fixture is not out yet, but we expect to be heading to Oakleigh in a 3rd Grand Final over the 5 consecutive GFs we have made. Hoping to be ahead in the GF ledger with Oakleigh, as it is currently tied at 1-all.

Our 2s are the last remaining senior team playing this season. Despite finishing second, we are now playing the first placed Brighton team, because we earnt a second chance from last week.

We will also be looking to bounce back from the close 2 wicket loss to them from Round 13.
