Max King has just had more knee surgery, and from what I’ve heard, he won’t be back in St Kilda’s main training group until the end of January. It’s tough news, especially considering he didn’t play a single game throughout the entire 2025 season because of ongoing knee issues.
Despite the setbacks, he’s still locked in with the club — his contract runs through to 2032. It’s clear the Saints believe in his long-term value, but right now, it’s all about recovery and getting his body right.
