Have you read the new National Geographic book "A Diver's Guide to the World" yet? ๐
The answer is probably "No", because it isn't available in Australia yet........or is it? ๐ค
Come down to Aquatic Adventures' club night on Friday 3rd February when we will be having an exclusive book launch with the authors (and Aquaholics club members) Carrie & Chris. Hear about how they went about researching and writing the book, and maybe even pick up a signed copy ๐ค
This special club night will also be our Travel info night for our upcoming overseas trips, Graduation for our students who completed courses in January, and the final of our Scuba Scavenger hunt - lots going on, and sure to be heaps of fun!
Let us know if you plan to attend, so we can cater accordingly for the club night BBQ, and we look forward to seeing you there!

I can't believe it's been two years since I was regularly diving and seeing all the spring creatures out and about in the bay.... But a baby and a pandemic have been keeping me busy! Thank goodness we can see an end in sight and we can be back in the water soon.... November, and the ocean, are calling! Join Aquatic Adventures Rowville this season and explore our big blue backyard!

This is an amazing opportunity! Dry diving is the ONLY way to dive in Melbourne! (Okay there are many brave souls out there in wetsuits, but that is just madness! Haha). Call aquatic adventures now to book a spot!
AWESOME NEW OPPORTUNITY!
One of the most common comments we get in Melbourne is "it's too cold to go diving in winter". To which we reply "not if you have a Drysuit". However that inevitably leads to "hmm not sure if I will like diving dry" and lets face it, getting a Drysuit can be a big investment. But THINGS ARE CHANGING! Aquatic Adventures has gotten approval to run Drysuit Courses without having to buy a suit. Using the Bare Aquatrek 1 Trial fleet from AUP.
What this means for you. For $250 you can learn to dive dry in a rental Drysuit. Even Better if you decide to buy a Bare Drysuit after the course we will take the course price off your Drysuit!
As if that's not enough. This particular version of the Drysuit is different from the version released in the USA. It has been specifically designed for diving in Australia. Call us to find out how it's different.
Our first course will be running Sunday 31st May. Spaces are sure to fill up fast so if you want in call today 9755 5688.

Are you looking to take the next step in your diving? Are you diving to 18m and looking down wondering what is below? Are you interested in what other kinds of diving you can do?
Then it might be time to take your Advanced Open Water course.
For many this is the next course they take after the Open Water. The reason for that is the AOW course consists of 5 dives each of which has a certain focus.
At Aquatic Adventures we will take you through:
Buoyancy dive (learning how more efficiently control buoyancy).
Navigation dive (become more comfortable with your compass).
Night dive (go out at night and see how different every site can be).
Deep dive (explore what you can find at 30m).
Wreck dive (see what Melbourneโs amazing wrecks have to offer)
All of this and then being qualified to dive to 30m!
The cost for this course is $650 and the next start date is 5th March.

Congratulations ๏ฟผ to this bunch of legends for completing their PADI Wreck course this weekend. It was an absolute pleasure to watch these guys develop the skills and confidence to successfully dive the shipwrecks of Port Philip Bay! Penetrating the J-4 submarine was the highlight of the weekend. Well done Bobbi, Skye, Dave and Alec. Thanks as always to our awesome staff, DM Alex and DMIT Paul, for excellent assists!
Shout out to RedBoats.com.au who always get us where we need to be, thanks guys! ๐๐๐ช
