SKCC ride to the Nongs was on today and a small but optimistic group hit the hills. The weather played relatively nice and enabled us to enjoy the climbs. Thanks to everyone that came along and we’re back on May 3 for the next ride to the Nongs 🚵♀️🚵

While the girls get their well-deserved day in the spotlight — let’s not forget one of our SKCC lads quietly doing something pretty extraordinary. Massive shout-out to Jack Meacham who is deep into his solo Melbourne → Adelaide ride. Through sunshine, wind, rain and long lonely kilometres, he’s been grinding it out one pedal stroke at a time.
That’s the spirit of the bike right there — courage, grit and a bit of stubborn determination. Jack — the whole St Kilda Cycling Club crew is behind you. Keep pushing those pedals, Adelaide is getting closer every kilometre.
Drop him some kudos on Strava and show him some SKCC love
Ride safe. Ride strong. Finish proud 🚲

As we mark International Women’s Day this Sunday, I want to take a moment to honour the extraordinary women who make up our club. This year’s theme for International Women’s Day—“Balance the Scales”—reminds us that every woman and girl deserves to be safe, heard, respected, and free to shape her own life. It calls on the world to work toward justice, fairness, and equality in every space we occupy. Enjoy the day with friends around you no matter what gender! Cheers from Juliet
