Congratulations to Riley Maringoni, who plays his 50th game for MHSOBFC this Saturday.

Riley joined the Unicorns in 2024, following a move from Perth, and immediately slotted into our senior side. A versatile midfielder, Riley can play on both the inside and outside, and his durability is underlined by the facts he’s played 49 of a possible 50 games from debut. In 2026 Riley has been an important part of the senior team as they look to make a long-awaited return to finals.

Off the field, Riley is a frequent spectator of MHSOBFC’s other sides, and he has thrown himself into all aspects of the club’s culture. Well done on 50 games Riley, we’re very glad you chose the Unicorns!

FINAL HOME GAME: SEASON FINALE LUNCHEON & $3k LUCKY DRAW

In Round 18, our Seniors & Reserves are scheduled to play at the Woodfull Miller Oval against Canterbury with both games likely to impact finals qualification and placings. In addition, there is a possibility of a Clubbies home final beforehand as a triple header.

With the closure of the H&A Season, we are looking to gather as much support as possible for what could be a crucial day for the Club.

Events on the day will include a ‘stand-up’ style luncheon with Burgers, Steak Sandwiches & Chips served on the Balcony and in the Unicorn Club, with the Unicorn Bar open through the afternoon, serving all of your favourites from Union Draught to San Junipero spritz to Peg & Bull wines.

Following the Senior game, we will host our usual post-match drinks and awards, and we will then immediately kick off our $3k Lucky Draw event. Tickets to the Lucky Draw are $50 or 2 for $80 and can be purchased on our website. Tickets include dinner supplier by our fabulous sponsor Firebox Pizza, a one-hour open bar happy hour from 6:00-7:00pm, entertainment on the evening, as well as the chance to take home the cash!
