A frustrating draw for the Senior Men today.

It was a largely one-sided contest, with the game played almost entirely in our attacking half. Unfortunately, we once again failed to make the most of our chances and paid the price.

Despite our goalkeeper having no saves to make all game, a poorly defended corner at the front post proved costly.

That's football.

We regroup, and move on to the next one.

Reserves Kick off 4 PM

The senior lads make it 2 in a row after a thrilling contest away at La Trobe.

The boys controlled the game from the opening whistle but struggled to convert their chances early. Against the run of play, the opposition were awarded a penalty which they converted, before a goalkeeping error saw us suddenly 2-0 down.

But the response was outstanding. The lads switched on the boosters and fired home 4 goals in 20 minutes to completely turn the match around.

A disappointing late goal from La Trobe but all too late. A well deserved win.

The Senior Men delivered a dominant performance tonight, securing a comfortable 3–0 victory with an attacking brand of football that paid off on the scoreboard.

Wave after wave, the lads piled on the pressure in a dominant performance, but somehow ETA Buffalo built a brick wall at the back that just wouldn’t crack, settling for a sour-tasting draw.

It was double delight this weekend for our mens teams, as the seniors and reserves came away with twin wins away to Gisborne. 🏆⚽

The seniors were put on the backfoot early, conceding a gifted goal in the opening minute, and going in 1-0 down at halftime. However they responded strongly in the second half, controlling the game and fighting back with a double from Tobia Soe.

Our reserves also battled hard for their win, Jesse opening the scoring with a cracker before Jimmy sealed the win. 💚🖤💚

This weekend our men hit the road to take on Gisborne FC, looking to bounce back after a tough result last time out.
