As we step into May, I’m inviting our whole community to settle into a new intention for the month ahead: CALM.
This month, our classes will be guided by a grounding acronym that reminds us that calm isn’t something we stumble upon — it’s something we cultivate, breath by breath, moment by moment.
C — Centre
A — Align
L — Let Go
M — Melt
Each word is an anchor. A way to return to yourself. A reminder of the stages of āsana described in the Yoga Sūtras - finding steadiness, refining awareness, softening effort, and resting in spacious presence.
Throughout May, you’ll hear these words woven into our flows, our breathwork, our meditation, and our moments of stillness.
I encourage you to choose one word each week — or even each day — and let it shape the intention you bring to your mat.
Notice how centring shifts your breath.
Notice how alignment brings clarity.
Notice how letting go dissolves unnecessary effort.
Notice how melting into the moment transforms the posture from something you do into something you experience.
And then, take it with you.
Because the real practice begins when we step off the mat and back into the world — into conversations, relationships, work, family, and the quiet spaces in between.
CALM becomes a compass:
Centre yourself before you respond.
Align your actions with what matters.
Let go of what you no longer need to carry.
Melt into presence, softness, and ease.
To support this month’s theme, I’ll be hosting a special Yoga Nidra + Sound Healing on Friday, 22 May — a deeply restorative practice designed to help you soften inward, release accumulated tension, and embody the spaciousness we cultivate throughout May.
I would love for you to join me.
May CALM guide your practice, your choices, and the way you move through the world.

Namaste yoga community, As I weave together the final threads of our Sound Healing for Peace practice this Sunday at 4pm, I can feel the whole session humming with intention.
We’ll move slowly, tenderly, through gentle traditional Hatha asana to soften & open the places where the body holds its oldest stories — ‘svadisthana’ the hips, ‘anahata’ the heart, ‘vishudha’ the head, neck and shoulders. Each shape becomes a quiet unravelling… a gentle loosening of fear, tension, pain, anxiety and the weight we forget we’re carrying.
Woven through this practice is healing pranayama, clearing the pranic pathways and guiding the nervous system back toward its natural rhythm — a soft homecoming to balance and ease.
Our Yoga Nidra will be a deep journey into ‘Antar Mouna’ — inner silence — a warm remembrance of the peace that has always lived within. We will soak up this practice held inside the cocoon of healing sound vibrations, wrapping the practice in resonance and calm. 🪷
I’m truly excited to share this carefully curated experience with you — a space to return, to release, to reawaken the deep sense of inner peace within.
If you feel called, I’d love to hold this practice with you. 🙏🏼

As we step into April, I’m inviting our whole community to anchor into a simple yet powerful intention for the month ahead: PEACE

This month, our classes will be guided by a gentle acronym that reminds us how peace is not something we wait for — it’s something we practice.

P — Pause
E — Exhale
A — Awaken
C — Center
E — Expand

Each word is a doorway. A moment to soften. A chance to return to yourself.

Throughout April, you’ll hear these words woven into our flows, our breathwork, our meditation, and our moments of stillness. I encourage you to choose one word each week — or even each day — and let it shape the intention you bring to your mat. Notice how a simple pause changes the quality of your breath. Notice how centering shifts your posture, your mood, your choices. Notice how expansion feels when it comes from ease rather than effort.

And then, take it with you.
Because the real practice begins when we step off the mat and back into the world — into conversations, relationships, work, family, and the quiet moments in between.

PEACE becomes a compass:
- Pause before reacting.
- Exhale when life feels full.
- Awaken to what truly matters.
- Center yourself in kindness.
- Expand your presence, your patience, your compassion.

A regular yoga practice becomes so much more powerful when paired with intention. It uplifts us, steadies us, and reminds us that peace is not passive — it’s active, embodied, and deeply transformative.

To support this month’s theme, I’ll also be hosting a special Sound Healing for Peace on Sunday, 12 April — a deeply nurturing experience designed to help you find peace within and anchor the learning and insights we cultivate throughout April.

I would love for you to join me.

May PEACE guide your practice, your choices, and the way you move through the world.

✨ What the session includes
Gentle yoga stretches to unwind the body and prepare the nervous system for deep rest.
Restorative Yin postures that melt long‑held tension and invite profound stillness.
Pranayama (breathwork) to move energy through the body and create spaciousness within.
A peace‑focused Yoga Nidra to guide you into a state of effortless awareness and inner calm.
A deeply immersive sound bath using harmonic tones and soothing vibrations to settle the mind, balance the nervous system, and restore inner harmony.
🌿 The experience

Teacher Review – I attended Elanor’s class last Monday, and it was truly something special. She invited us to work with blocks in a way that went far beyond simple support — they became tools for awakening the body’s deeper intelligence, revealing where we were holding back and where dormant muscles were ready to switch on.
Even with a full room, Elanor held the space with such calm focus. Her teaching feels both steady and intuitive, as though she sees exactly what each student needs without ever interrupting the flow of the practice. There’s a quiet wisdom in the way she guides, paired with a gentleness that makes you feel completely supported.
The guided self‑massage at the end was a beautiful surprise — a thoughtful way to integrate the work we’d done and ease us into a rich, luxurious savasana. It tied the whole experience together in a way that felt nourishing and deeply considered. I’d highly recommend Elanor’s class to anyone who appreciates a teacher with insight, presence, and a genuine care for the inner experience of each student. 🙏🏼🧘🏽👍🏼

Teacher Review: I joined Gabi’s class last Tues eve and was struck by how thoughtfully crafted the practice felt. The sequencing was intelligent, purposeful - gradually opening the body to prepare for the peak pose — Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana (Compass Pose).
Gabi guided us through a progression that lengthened the hamstrings, freed the side body, and created spaciousness in the hips, all without ever feeling rushed or forced. Her cues were precise, supportive, and delivered with a confidence that made the whole room feel steady and held. What I appreciated most was how accessible she made the journey toward Compass Pose. With the right preparation and clear direction, the pose became less about flexibility and more about smart movement — and Gabi absolutely delivered on that. I’d highly recommend this class to anyone who values a practice grounded in strong anatomical understanding, intelligent sequencing, and a teacher who truly knows how to guide students safely into deeper exploration. 🪷

Teacher Review – Such a joy practicing with Emma last Friday at 9.30am. The class was beautifully sequenced — we built heat, tapped into our inner motivation, and worked with the energy of Manipura Chakra, the center of self.
The pace was slow, steady, and intentional, with just the right amount of challenge. There were plenty of moments to pause, breathe, and reconnect. We landed in savasana to the soft sounds of the hand pan, leaving everyone feeling uplifted and joyful.
This class suits all levels, offering space to explore deeper expressions of poses, build confidence, and move with greater awareness.

Teacher Review:
I had the privilege of joining Mel’s Hatha Yoga class last night. She guided us with such calm and steadiness — the entire practice felt warm, grounded, and beautifully rooted in yoga tradition. The slower pace gave me space to really explore each shape and listen to my body.

I left feeling balanced, relaxed, and completely stretched out, with so much tension released. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for grounding, calm, and a practice accessible for all levels. Namaste 🪬

As you prepare your breakfast — think of others.
Don’t forget to feed the pigeons.
As you conduct your wars — think of others.
Don’t forget those who want peace.
As you pay your water bill — think of others.
Think of those who have only the clouds to drink from.
As you go home, your own home — think of others — don’t forget those who live in tents.
As you sleep and count the stars, think of others — there are people who have no place to sleep.
As you liberate yourself with metaphors think of others — those who have lost their right to speak.
And as you think of distant others — think of yourself and say
‘I wish I were a candle in the darkness.'”
