Rise and conquer ๐

Who else can relate to that awesome feeling of accomplishment after an early morning workout? ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
I used to think I trained better past 12pm but after beginning a new job last month, I felt like I could do with a change in my routine as well, and started doing 5:30am workouts on a few days of the week. It feels amazing!
Except for the 5 minutes between getting out of bed and ready to train - thatโs the tough part - I am loving to train in the quiet times of the morning, while the sun rises outside my window. The workout is as tough (or easy) as I want it to be and I feel awesome and ready to conquer my day afterwards.

What comes to your mind when you think about longevity?
Being able to live for as long as possible, with as much health as possible to make the most of each year - this would be my answer.
In his book โOutlive, The Science and Art of Longevityโ, Dr Peter Attia identifies exercise as โthe most powerful longevity drugโ.
So, if you are thinking about living a very long life, and you want those years to be filled with good health, remember: exercise is key.
Go for a walk or a jog, do a workout today, join the yoga class down the road, go for a swim, take the stairs, leave the car at home. These are all choices you can make today - and every day - to move more, to live more, and to be healthy.

This was lunch the other day. And it has been quite similar a few other times after that because I really enjoyed it! A bit of pasta with extra protein, falafel, lettuce, tomato, spinach, carrot and cucumber. All topped up with grated Parmesan ๐ My diet is becoming more plant-based and I am absolutely loving it! How about you? Whatโs on your plate these days? Did you know that eating more plants and less animals can have huge benefits on your health, longevity and has a much less negative impact on the planet? Give it a go - there are so many great options to try!

Are you a creature of habit? ๐ค
It wasnโt until the pandemic started that I realised how important it was for me to stick to my daily habits. Actually, it was at this time that I initiated my and it changed my life.
Since then, I get up at the same time every day (roughly the same time on the weekend, โcause we all need a bit of wiggle room in our lives ๐) and I meditate, or if I am on holiday, I exercise.
I thrive in this routine. It gives me the structure I need to get stuff done, while enjoying doing it.
I am not saying we all have to live by the same rules, and I respect (and admire!) creative routines that help you live a better life. But I find doing something similar every day really helps me to kickstart my morning and, from there on, it all flows much more easily.
