I remember the first time I walked into Bobby’s Room with a real bankroll.
Not just playing with rent money — I’m talking real money.
Roll big enough to sit with the legends.
And for a moment… I felt like I’d made it.
I had the watch. The shoes. The confidence.
People shook my hand different.
Dealers knew my name.
And yet — something felt off.
I was winning. Sure.
But I was chasing something I couldn’t quite name.
One night, I crushed a session.
Left the room up six figures.
Took a limo back to the suite. Ordered room service.
City lights outside. Silence inside.
And I remember sitting there thinking:
“Is this it?”

You can’t buy resilience when the deck runs cold for 8 hours.
You can’t buy the emotional control to fold a monster when your gut says you’re beat.
I’ve met guys with jets who are miserable.
And grinders with $4k to their name who sleep like kings.
Because real wealth isn’t in your bankroll.
It’s in how you handle pressure.
How you treat people when you’re up — and when you’re stuck.
And whether you’re still smiling when the chips are down.
