We are excited to announce the re-signing of Shilette Baker as our Senior Women’s Coach for 2027! ❤️🖤

Shilette continues to bring passion, structure and inclusivity to the head coach role at Kilsyth, across our Division 2 and Division 5 teams. With 2026 being hindered by some injuries and the club embarking on 2 women’s teams, we knew this was going to be a year of challenges and learnings. Through it all, the group has remained strong, and the growth across the program has been fantastic. Shilette and her coaching team believe the women’s program is heading in the right direction, with a focus on continuing to develop our current players while recruiting to complement and strengthen the squad.

With 10+ years of coaching experience across Auskick, junior girls and senior women, Shilette also recognises the importance of the team around her. With a wealth of knowledge across the coaching group, the women are well supported by a passionate, committed and inclusive coaching team.

Kilsyth Football Netball Club is excited to announce Darren Jackson as our 2027 Senior Men’s Coach.

Jacko has a wealth of football knowledge derived from 19 seasons of senior footy, spanning 3 divisions, premiership player, club captain, countless individual awards & is a life member of our football club.

Since playing Jacko has become a highly regarded coach with an outstanding record. 8 seasons at a development level, 8 finalists, 5 grand finals, 4 premierships. Amongst those premierships our 2023 U17.5s, 2024 & 2025 U19.5s three-peat with many of those young stars now having an impact at senior level.

In addition to the above Jacko has completed his AFL Level 2 accreditation, always had high player retention & a proven track record of developing young players/teams in a way that ensures that they reach their full potential.

He has filled leadership roles such as coaching co-ordinator, understands our football club & been an integral part of building our strong club culture. "I'm certain our club is on the verge of a successful era. We have a extremely talented young list that have their best footy ahead of them, we're in a strong financial position & have facilities rivaling the best in the state."

WE'RE NOW RECRUITING!!
All U19.5, Development & Senior players are offered a contract. Minimum 2027 base payment is $150 per senior match, ranging up to $600 per match for talented players.
