First full week back at work in a long time. I swear to god (Madonna)... The first year I have to work a whole year with no break, it's going to kill me

In all seriousness, what a great start to the end of the year. So happy to see all my regular folks and really excited to meet alot of new faces. Everyone is just so excited to be able to do something physical. Lots of laughs this week.
Next Sunday is daylight savings and then it is all gold moving forward. Social catch ups, eventually gyms re-opening, borders coming down and even international travel are all about to happen. It's all very exciting.

Important reminder that even if you have an injury? Like my shoulder... there are other body parts you can train.
Sure I didn't train much after my injury for 2 weeks but you need to move and get back on track.
My left shoulder may need surgery and up to a year Rehab but does that mean I'm not training my good right shoulder or chest for a year? No.
I still have legs, core and arms that I can still work as normal and everything else I'm doing unilateral training.

Can you believe that 4 weeks ago gyms closed! Feels like it's been months!!! I'm lucky, I get to talk to my clients every day, which is great for my head space plus I walk for an hour every day around Caulfield Park (3 laps). We all need to look after our mental health, so get out and go for a walk. Not only is it good physically but just looking around, will be amazing mentally. PLUS... I need to do something to work off the kg of vanilla slice I ate over the weekend 🐷

William end of back session with some biceps!
It's amazing the workout you can get with bands.
I'll be the first to admit, it's never going to replace weight training but in these strange days, it's about holding onto what you have...
It's better doing something to hold onto it, rather than just giving up and starting fresh in 3 to 6 months time.
What Will doesn't know... It's leg day tomorrow and triceps!
I know it's crazy, but the rule book is thrown out!!!

Getting outdoors first thing in the morning has been amazing!
Using TRX, kettle bells and a bit of cardio has really been pushing my clients.
It will take a week or 2 for the cardio to pick up but I can guarantee in a month's or 2, they will be able to run the park with ease.
