If you've always had a 'negative mind' then changing that to a 'postive mind' is not going to happen over night. It takes time, discipline and patience to create the habits that change your mindset. But if you really want to have a better life, changing your mindset is essential, work hard now and it will come easy later. One thing I'm working on personally: Controlling the time between something happening and my reaction towards it.

Yes or no question. Are you taking Omega-3 supplements? If you answered no - WHY? let me just explain, with a few dot points:

1. Omega-3s can fight depression and anxiety
2. Omega-3 can improve eye health
3. Promote brain health during pregnancy and early life
4. Can improve risk factors for heart disease
5. Reduce symptoms of ADHD in children
6. Omega-3 can fight autoimmune diseases
7. Can also fight inflammation
8. Can improve joint and bone health
9. Can improve sleep
10. Omega- 3 is good for your skin

on that list, is there something you DON'T want?
so many more benefits to Omega-3! But be careful when choosing your Omega-3 supplement, many on the market contain high levels of mercury and fertilizer. Yuck. Make wise choices.

W-O.O.T.D : Glute + Calf

Superset 1: 5 rounds
Deadlifts x6-8
Glute bridges x10-12

Superset 2: 3 rounds
Goblet squat jumps x5
Forward lunge each leg x5

Superset 3: 4 rounds each leg
Cable kick back x10
Bulgarian split squat x10 (same leg)

standing calf raises:
2 reps - pause for 4 seconds at the top
4 reps - pause for 4 seconds at the top
6 reps - pause fro 4 seconds at the top
8 reps - pause for 4 seconds at the top
10 reps - pause for 4 seconds at the top
repeat going back down from 10-2

Often I ask myself "Am I living a life I would be happy to be living 10 years from now?"
No?
"Am I moving in the direction I want my life to be 10 years from now?
No?
Why not? What's stopping me? In 10 years will I still believe the excuses I'm calling 'obstacles'? If we just decided that from here on in we are 100% RESPONSIBLE for the choices we make and life that those choices provide for us, imagine the change that could come...

Oh, you've been looking for a full body HIIT workout at home with only a resistance band and a medicine ball? You're in luck! 😏 Smashed one out this morning - ready for you to take it on!

Side steps with resistance band (video on Instagram -hay1z)
30 second squat position
30 second standing position
Rest 30 seconds
Repeat 4 times

Resistance band donkey kicks x10
Single leg hip bridge on chair x10
X3 on one leg, repeat on other leg

30 seconds of each-
-Toe taps on ball
-squat ball slams
-hip bridge (feet on ball)
-sit-up ball throws
-rest
Repeat 5 times (video will be paired on Instagram soon)

Russian twist (with or without ball)
20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest.
Repeat 6 times.

Optional** 20 minute run. Or swim. Or sunbake 😅 .. Because it's still holiday season! 🎉🍒☀️

Do your workout, then enjoy your weekend. Simples. 😃 Can even try this bad boy!-

Superset 1: 4 rounds, minimal rest.
1. Heavy dumbbell bent over row (on incline bench) x10
2. (Staying on incline bench) dumbbell rear delt lift x10

Pull up static hold (use resistance band if necessary) 2x 20-30seconds

Superset 2: 3 rounds
1. Wide grip pull up x6
2. Rear delt pull (cable) x10

Man makers (video of Instagram- hay1z) x6

Trx inverted row - x7, rest at bottom for 7seconds, go for 7 rounds

Don't forget to drink all the water! 💪🏽😅

Whoa! Happy first day of summer! New month = new goals! One more month left of the year, let's make it one to be proud of! Find a goal- something you've wanted to do.. Take more photos, cook more at home, save more money, grow a fruit tree, get fitter, make a goal and take steps every day to achieve. Also.. Lift! 💪🏽Because muscle burns calories! And God knows we'll be having a lot of those this month 😍🍒🍾 give this leg workout a shot the day after a GREAT dinner.. Work off that food hangover 😷 Maybe that's even tomorrow 😉

*Resistance band side walks (find a decent length walkway, up and back) x3

*Squats (Barbell) x10
X5

*Deadlifts x10
X3

*Squat walks (1/4 turns, stay low! up and back)
X3

*Walking lunges (weight plate above head, up and back)
X3

*Hip bridge with barbell x12
X4

Deadlifts x10

Goblet squats (aim for half your weight!) x10
pop squats with lighter DB x10
x5

Donkey Kicks (cable) x10
Bulgarian split squat on bench x10
x4 on one leg, then x4 on the other leg

Resistance Band side walks
up and back (about 15 steps one way) x3
