Congrats to these four Alba Roosters, who annihilated the 130km Amy’s Gran Fondo course, and in turn qualified for next year’s UCI World Championships in Glasgow 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Let’s just call it the day of the Ox 🐂. Typically bloody windy and dusty conditions greeted the riders at the Chernobyl-like landscape of VU today for the annual FCC Crit Club Champs. With five Albas contesting B Grade in a bunch of 25, the odds were decent.
Multiple attacks from the start created a war of attrition with the bunch whittled down fairly quickly. With a few breaks unable to make it stick, Ox picked the right one and then proceeded to own the 5 man break on the last lap to take a strong Club Champs victory - the man is in form. and came in 6th and 7th for a strong Alba result. picked up a top 10 in C Grade, and .redpath.39 acquitted himself well in A Grade. Brutal conditions for all riders today, well done on the win 👏 Go Alba

💥 The day belonged to Ben Redpath, taking his third win in three races! But as they say at , Sayonara Ben you’re off to A Grade. And clipped over for 3rd too!

Huge congrats to our power beast Ben Redpath for taking the win at today’s B grade crit, with coming home for 3rd as well. Ben is now starting to look like a lock for ARCC-OZ’s coveted White Jersey for best rider in 2020.

Three Albas hit a cold and blustery National Boulevard this morning for @coburgcyclingclub B Grade Crit. 4 men stayed away for the win, so we were left to scrap for the slops....which we did. Best Crit course in Melbourne by a mile @marcusolive @julianeddylee @evanmiller81 @albarosacc
