U10s SHINE IN CRAZY SOCKS ROUND!

A massive shoutout to our incredible U10 White who absolutely smashed it on the weekend, Not only did they bring maximum energy to Geelong, but they did it in the brightest footwear around.

Our junior champions proudly rocked their Family of League Foundation "Family of League Crazy Socks" to help raise funds and awareness for the rugby league community. From medical equipment to financial aid, their steps on the field help support footy families doing it tough.

Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and volunteers who supported the round and helped make it a fun day.

2026 ASSRL National Championships | Victoria U16 Boys Representatives

Werribee Bears Rugby League Sports Club is incredibly proud to recognise six of our own who had the honour of representing Victoria at the 2026 ASSRL National Championships in Coffs Harbour, earlier this month.

To earn selection to represent your state is a remarkable achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, commitment, and dedication each of these young men has shown throughout the season.

The Championships provided an opportunity to compete against the best young talent from across Australia while proudly representing Victoria on the national stage. We are incredibly proud of the way each of our Bears conducted themselves, both on and off the field, and we're grateful to have them all return home healthy and ready to finish the season.

To Gospel, Terri, Kaeden, Joshua, Dominic and Likuovalu—thank you for representing Victoria and the Werribee Bears with pride. Your achievements inspire the next generation of Bears, and our entire club and community couldn't be prouder.

A special congratulations also to Terri Samani, who received the prestigious U16 Boys Player of the Match and U16 Boys Player of the Championship awards.
We'll be celebrating Terri's incredible achievement in a dedicated post.

Congratulations BEARS

Tonight, our Under 14 Girls Division 1 team had the privilege of learning from our very own senior women's players and sisters, Tiana and Phat Girl who have proudly been part of the Bears family since 2008 and 2010.

Drawing on their experience representing both the Bears and Victoria, they shared valuable insights on discipline, attitude, resilience, being coachable, balancing rugby league with family and life, and making positive choices on and off the field.

Their message was simple:

"Talent may create opportunities, but mindset, hard work and character are what help you succeed"

We're grateful to Tiana and Phat girl for giving back to our next generation and continuing to inspire the future of girls' rugby league at Werribee Bears.
