Yesterday marked School Owner, Deputy Master Toni Dare’s 20th year of training in Choi Kwang Do martial arts!
Help us in congratulating her in such an achievement; especially since she’s only 26!!!

Today’s class was all about safety in falling. Mr Dare demonstrated this through some leaping rolls and break falls!
New time slot opening! Dare’s Martial Arts will now be open for Thursday night classes (6:00pm - 7:00pm). These classes commence on the 16th of March!

Motivation Monday: It's the New Year, which means we've likely set our New Years resolutions. But how often have we not stuck to these for more than a week or two?
Goal setting can be incredibly effective in motivating us and helping us feel accomplished if we've reached it. Goal setting only works though if we are being specific and realistic with the goals we set, and developing strategies that will help us to reach our goals!

Motivation Monday: As the new year quickly approaches, I want us all to stop and take some time to reflect on the habits we have and the habits we wish to form. Well lets gets started on forming them new, good habits early with these 4 steps:
1. Decide on a goal that you would like to achieve.
2. Choose a simple action that will get you towards your goal which you can do on a daily basis.
3. Plan when and where you will do your chosen action. Be consistent: choose a time and place that you encounter every day of the week.
4. Every time you encounter that time and place, do the action.
With these 4 steps, you'll be forming them healthy habits in no time!
