In collaboration with organisers Aliyu Hussein, Rik’s Bushira, Fitum Astatike, alongside the Oromo Week Australia team, we proudly present the Moyale Oromo Week Peace Tournament.

Our representative Obsa Boru is currently on the ground in Moyale, Oromia, as we prepare to celebrate another milestone, giving back to grassroots communities and uplifting our people back home. ❤️💚

✨ MEET TASNEEM ADAM ✨

Another outstanding local Oromo talent. At just 16 years old, Tasneem is the current Australian National Taekwondo Champion in her age division after securing Gold at the 2025 National Championships in Adelaide.

She has since earned selection to the Australian Junior National Team and is currently representing the country on the international stage at the Dutch Open and Belgian Open Championships with her sights set on the 2026 Junior World Taekwondo Championships in Uzbekistan.

Tasneem also has her eyes on an Olympic spot for 2028 as she is currently in 5th spot in the senior division rankings!

Congratulations to our very own Hikma who has been selected for the U13 Football Victoria Academy Team. To be recognised and to be playing at the top level within her age group, this is a big achievement and we need to get behind her.
